Hear from the IAA President, Micheline Dionne, on the Vision and Projects for the near future for the IAA. We will discuss the current IAA project on climate risk as well as our future climate risk action plan which aims to tackle issues such as water-related risks, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the International Sustainability Standard's Board recently released papers on their two proposed standards on general sustainability-related disclosure requirements, and climate-related disclosure requirements.

Well done IAALS for the idea to put on this event. We, the IAA audience would like such a topic earlier in the year when the President takes office so we can see the connections and strategies converging on the objective that the IAA is major player in the decision-making process within the financial services industry, the area of social protection and in the management of risk, contributing to the well-being of society as a whole.
Perhaps other Sections can host different perspectives of the value of IAA projects and their research so their is variety.
